The studio

One person. Apps that stay out of your way.

WithyWork is a one-person indie studio. Manish builds the apps himself, and he builds tools he actually uses: in day-to-day work, and in his own music. No growth team. If something is wrong, you write to a person and a person answers: info@withywork.com.

The philosophy

Your data is yours.

Privacy is important, more so today than ever before. Your data is yours. Nothing is collected. Sync runs through your own iCloud account, which you turn on. There is no WithyWork account and no WithyWork server holding your things. We cannot read what we never receive.

Work with AI

A.k.a. Super Intelligence.

Some of our apps have local MCP servers built in. We like to use AI to manage our work across different apps, and have made it so your own AI can talk to the apps locally on your machine. This setting is off by default, and setup instructions are included if you want to use this capability.

Manish has a “Chief of Staff” agent that talks to his apps, and between the AI and the apps, he manages dozens of projects, where the apps become the place where context and tasks are stored. He accesses and uses his apps directly, but often tells his AI what he did across all his projects and tasks, and the AI updates everything everywhere that needs to be updated.

SwiftList’s local MCP on Mac is described on the SwiftList page.

From WithyWork

Apps that keep your work on your devices.

SwiftList

Nested checklists for people who think in steps. Lists stay on your own devices, sync only through your private iCloud when you turn that on, and never touch a WithyWork server. No account to make. On Mac it lives in the menu bar and opens as a full desktop window. The same purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Lists inside lists, dates and alerts, templates, paper-list scans, photos and voice memos, Monthly Insights, widgets, and an optional local MCP server on Mac so an AI assistant you choose can read and, if you allow it, update your lists.

Free to start (3 active lists, 2 levels deep). Premium is $0.99 a month, $9.99 a year, or $24.99 once for life. Pick the model that works best for you.

Facets

Shareable digital contact cards for every side of you: the day job, the side work, the people you represent. Each card gets its own look and its own files, and goes to the other person in one tap. No account and no server of ours.

Attach a press kit or portfolio, share with a QR code or phone to phone, and keep every card on your own iPhone.

One card free. A one-time $0.99 covers unlimited cards for life. Not a subscription.

More from us

That Sounds Hot, for producers.

As a veteran EDM producer with releases that span 3 decades, Manish brings together his love of making apps with his love of making music on That Sounds Hot, a site with tools for music producers to work faster and smarter.

Producer Tools Desktop

A Mac app for producers with a free tier and Premium. The menu bar and Interactive Reference are free today: Camelot keys, scales, timing, note frequencies and mix guides, one keystroke from your DAW. No account.

On Mac it is both a desktop app and a menu bar cheat sheet. Today’s modules include Studio Library, Ableton Drum Rack, MPC Drum Program, Chain Maker, Audio Chopper, Micro Audio Chopper and Video Slicer. The tool modules (everything but Video Slicer) are moving to the free tier; they are still Premium in the live App Store build until that update ships.

Coming in the next update: song project and release management, and other finish-and-release features for both serious and hobbyist producers.

Free includes Reference now, and soon the tool modules. Premium keeps Video Slicer and the finish/release features, at $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year.
