Privacy.
This policy covers every WithyWork app. Where an app does something different, it is listed separately below.
The short version. Our apps run on your devices. There is no account to make, no server of ours holding your things, and no analytics. We do not receive your data, so we cannot read it, lose it, or hand it over.
What applies to every app
What we collect
Nothing. No analytics, no crash reporting that transmits, no advertising identifiers, no device fingerprinting. We do not know who uses our apps or how.
Where your data lives
On your device. Our apps store what you make in local storage that belongs to you. Deleting an app deletes what it stored on that device.
Third parties
None receive your data from us, because we do not have it. Our apps do not include third-party SDKs that collect or transmit information.
Purchases
App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. We receive anonymous sales reports from Apple that contain no personal information.
Children
Our apps are not directed at children and collect nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this changes, the date above changes. If a change affects what an app does with your data, the app tells you before the new behaviour starts.

Per-app details
SwiftList, iPhone, iPad and Mac
Your lists. Stored on your device. Widgets and the share extension read and add to them on the same device, through storage shared only with SwiftList.
iCloud sync. Part of Premium, and off for free users. When on, your lists, photos and voice memos sync through your own private iCloud database. That is your iCloud, not ours. We have no access to it and cannot read what is in it. If you stop syncing, nothing is deleted.
Photos and scans. Photos you attach and paper lists you scan are kept in SwiftList’s own storage on your device. Text in them is recognised on the device.
Voice memos. Recordings stay in SwiftList’s storage. Transcripts, a Premium feature, are made on the device with Apple’s on-device speech recognition. The audio is not sent anywhere to be transcribed.
Reminders, notifications and the calendar. SwiftList writes to Apple Reminders only when you ask it to add an item there. Alerts are scheduled on your device.
Monthly Insights. Worked out on your device from your own lists. An export is a file you choose to share.
Sharing. When you share or export a list, you choose what goes and who gets it. Nothing passes through us.
Permissions. Camera, photos, microphone, speech recognition, Reminders and notifications are each asked for the first time you use the feature that needs them, and you can say no.
MCP server on Mac. SwiftList for Mac includes a local MCP server for AI assistants. It only accepts connections from your own Mac, and an assistant can only read until you turn on changes. SwiftList sends nothing off your devices for this. An assistant you connect may send what it reads to its own service, under that service’s terms.
Facets, iPhone
Files you attach. Facets does not copy them. It stores a reference to where the file already lives, and the file stays there.
Backup. Off unless you turn it on. When on, your cards are copied to your own iCloud account using Apple’s private database. That is your iCloud, not ours. We have no access to it and cannot read what is in it. You can leave any card out of the backup.
Sharing. When you share a card, you choose what goes and who gets it. Cards sent phone to phone travel over local Bluetooth and Wi-Fi radios between two devices in the same place. No server is involved and nothing passes through us.
Photos. If you add a photo to a card, location and camera metadata are removed before it is stored or shared.
What we cannot control. Once you hand a card to someone, it belongs to them. If two of your cards share a phone number or an email address, their device may connect them. That happens on their phone, not in Facets.
