Apple Reminders

  1. Add to Reminders
  2. What gets copied
  3. Permission

If you want something in Apple Reminders, SwiftList can copy it there. It is a one-way copy, not a sync.

Add to Reminders #

  • One item: long-press, Add to Reminders.
  • A whole list: Share, Add All to Reminders. Each open item directly in the list becomes a reminder. Completed ones are skipped.

Pick a Reminders List (Default or any of your lists) and tap Add.

What gets copied #

  • The title and notes.
  • The due date.
  • An alarm from the item’s next alert, if it has one.
  • Sub-items, written into the reminder’s notes as an outline with ☐, ◐ and ☑.

Color tags aren’t copied. Changes in Reminders don’t come back to SwiftList.

Permission #

The first time, SwiftList asks for access to Reminders. If you said no, you’ll see “SwiftList can’t use Reminders” with Open Settings, where you can allow it.

For SwiftList 2.0. Updated October 11, 2026.
