SwiftList Free is a real app you can keep using. Premium removes the limits and adds sync, Insights and the full Mac app.

Nothing gets locked #

Free limits only stop you making more. If you have more lists or deeper nesting than Free allows, for example after Premium ends, everything stays where it is and stays editable.

Prices #

  • Monthly: $0.99 a month. “Cancel anytime.”
  • Yearly: $9.99 a year, about $0.83 a month. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
  • Lifetime: $24.99 once. “Pay once, yours for good.”

These are US prices. The Premium screen shows the price for your country from the App Store.

The free trial #

If you can get the trial, the Yearly button says Start 7-Day Free Trial. “Free for 7 days, then $9.99 a year. Renews automatically until you cancel, at least 24 hours before the period ends, in your Apple Account settings.” If you’ve had the trial before, the button says Subscribe instead.

How to buy #

  • iPhone: tap the gear icon at the top left, then SwiftList Premium.
  • iPad: tap Settings in the sidebar, then SwiftList Premium.
  • Mac: open Settings (⌘,), then SwiftList Premium.

The Premium screen also opens by itself when you reach a Free limit, for example when you try to make a 4th list. Pick a plan and confirm with Apple.

One purchase, every device #

SwiftList is a universal purchase. Premium on one Apple Account covers iPhone, iPad and the App Store Mac app.

Purchases aren’t shared with family members through Family Sharing.

Restore Purchases #

New device, or reinstalled? Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. You need to be signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.

Manage or cancel a subscription #

When you’re subscribed, the Premium screen shows Manage Subscription. You can also go to your Apple Account’s Subscriptions in the Settings app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge. Refunds are handled by Apple.

If a subscription ends #

Your lists stay. Sync stops, and the Free limits apply to new things. A subscription keeps working for up to 3 days offline after it ends, so a missed connection doesn’t cut you off.

Ask to Buy #

If a family organizer has to approve purchases, you’ll see “Your purchase is waiting for approval (Ask to Buy)”.

SwiftList 1.x users #

If your 1.x lists moved over on a device, Premium is included on that device at no charge: “You used SwiftList before 2.0, so Premium is included on this device at no charge.”

For SwiftList 2.0. Updated October 11, 2026.
